How traditional real estate commissions work

The full Buyer's and Seller's commission is deducted from the sales price.

When you sell your home, part of the money you make on the sale goes toward paying real estate agent commissions. Not only do you pay your own agent, but you are also paying the buyer's agent. The selling agent usually gets a bit more because they pay the cost of the photographer, floor plans and advertising.

The commissions charged across Canada are not fixed. Each brokerage firm sets their commission rates. In a traditional environment the client simply pays the entire commission amount. With ClickRealty we share our commissions with you.

We never charge an up-front fee; if, at any time you choose not to work with ClickRealty just let us know and we will never bother you again.
